Pete's Log: Zufälliges Zeug

Entry #1398, (Random Crap)
(posted when I was 28 years old.)

It's been more than five years since I wrote my thousandth log entry. It only took me two and a half years to write those thousand entries. In the five years since, I've written less than 400. But if I write just six more entries for 2006, this will become the most prolific year for writing since 2002. That ought to be doable.

I am curious to know how the rss feed is working out for people. I looked at the apache logs today and saw that google, yahoo, and livejournal all regularly pull my feed. I have no idea how that translates into readership, but I assume I still have some.

I know everybody knows youtube by now, but I want to point out how much I love it. I've been without a tv since breaking up with Meg, and youtube lets me watch Daily Show, Colbert Report, Simpsons and Family Guy clips. Granted, this will probably be the eventual demise of youtube, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. But in addition, youtube offers up a steaming pile of random that is just too good not to share...

So there you have it. And here I am, still blogging in mime-type text/html. By the way, Diana is now also a youtube contributor. I particularly like this video of hers.

Happy bandwidth wasting!
