Pete's Log: planes, trains, and automobiles

I like to travel, right?
My day yesterday: wake up at 4 am, then:
- Taxi
- S-Bahn
- Airplane
- S-Bahn
- Intercity Express
- Taxi
- Client visit
- Taxi
- Intercity Express
- S-Bahn
- Airplane
- S-Bahn
- Bus
It was, I think, somewhat absurd. But the German authorities stole my driver's license. They did give me a piece of paper that said I am allowed to drive while I wait to receive my German license. The problem was that none of the rental car companies wanted anything to do with me and my piece of paper. So that's how the itinerary above came to be.
It took 18 hours from when I left my apartment until I returned.
