Pete's Log: Hobbits and Meadows

Entry #1780, (Life in General)
(posted when I was 36 years old.)

Last night, Jamie and I watched the second hobbit movie - The Desolation of Smaug. We started it at about 8 pm and figured we'd watch half of it and finish it another night, because staying up until 11 is just not something we really do. But we kept not wanting to stop it yet, and so we stayed up past our bedtime. I thought it was better than the first one.

This morning we took Boogs on a long walk at Miller Meadow, although it would more aptly be called Miller Marsh these days. We dropped a rock down into the deep tunnel access hole there and timed it taking five seconds to hit the bottom, which would indicate a depth of more than 100 m. I wonder how big a pile of rocks they have down there by now.

We also hit up Ikea and Home Depot to get stuff for putting more stuff on the walls.
