Pete's Log: What to watch

Entry #2211, (Movies)
(posted when I was 44 years old.)

JB watched Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope for the first time last week, so that was fun. She seemed to enjoy it.

On other Star Wars fronts, Jamie and I have been stuck about two thirds of the way through the Kenobi series for some time now and it's just not working for us. Which is a bummer since I hear good things about Andor, but Kenobi has just kind of turned me off the new Star Wars for the time being.

During lunch breaks, Jamie and I like to check in on Dabl, especially if they're airing "60 Minute Makeover" (which seems to happen less often these days).

The big highlight lately is having discovered Taskmaster. I can't believe this has been around eight years and we've only just discovered it. Some episodes have me just crying from laughing so hard. We've made it most of the way through series 4 so far. The bathtub challenge of series 4, episode 5 had me laughing so hard I could barely breath. The laughs definitely help right now.

After writing about MST3k recently, I've been in the mood to watch that, but haven't really gotten around to it.

Jamie did have the great idea yesterday (I think? What is time anymore) to watch an episode of Murder She Wrote. I had to get the DVD player plugged back into the TV in order to do so. I ended up writing down a few notes for my murder mystery bot.
