Pete's Log: Our Turn

Entry #2339, (Life in General)
(posted when I was 44 years old.)

The winds shifted our way and we got our turn for smoke. By coincidence, we just happened to have bought a couple of IKEA VINDSTYRKA PM2.5 monitors a week or so ago. We'd only set one up so far, and we learned that our indoor PM2.5 normally ranges from 1-3 when all the windows are closed and 20-40 if the windows are open.

Today, with the windows closed and all our air filters set to max, the indoor sensor ranged 30-70. Out of curiosity I placed the second sensor outside where it measured in the 250-310 range. Needless to say, we spent most of the day inside.
