When I started this journal thingy, I was 20 years old. Yesterday I turned 28. Time flies.

I spent much of the day at work, fighting a losing configuration management battle. Configuration management is my least favorite part of software engineering.

After work, Sergey joined me for a couple beers. Then I played a game of Scrabble with Meg. Finally, I hit Georgetown with Rod. While there I saw the stairs from the movie The Exorcist. Another check I can put on my list of DC things to see before moving away. Rod got me a can of soup for my birthday, which had me laughing pretty hard. I'll have to take it with me to Deutschland.
