Pete's Log: March Miscellanea

Entry #2234, (Books, Writing, n such, Life in General)
(posted when I was 44 years old.)

Prior to this year, my only Dickens reading had been a half-hearted attempt to read Great Expectations for a freshman year English class in high school. I'm pretty sure I didn't actually read much of it and I definitely don't remember any of it.

But I continue my work on David Copperfield and I am glad to be doing so. Today I reached this milestone:

David Copperfield Book Open on the page of the start of volume 2

We get the print Sunday Chicago Tribune and lately the comics section seems to be the only section I'm sure to read. I was impressed to find this past Sunday that Dilbert was already gone.

Today I went to get into the TSA PreCheck system. It was a surprisingly efficient process. I was in and out of the building in seven minutes. Jamie had a similar experience yesterday. Now we wait.

My iPhone got a software update and it decided to rearrange all my favorites in Safari. This was upsetting to me.
