One of the biggest drawbacks to life in Germany is about to make itself felt again. ND football kicks off on Saturday. Or at least I think it does.

Apparently those of us living outside the American time zones just aren't quite good enough to get a countdown.

I'm going to be in Brussels on September 1 and will be doing some research on sports bars there before I go. Wish me luck. Last season I saw two games. Let's hope I can improve on that.
