Pete's Log: Drip drip drip

Entry #1885, (Life in General, Parenthood)
(posted when I was 42 years old.)

This morning our living room ceiling seepage turned into a living room ceiling drip. Jamie's dad was kind enough to fashion us an improvised roof rake, so we spent some more quality roof snow removal time today. I was also able to find the source of the water penetration in the separate attic above our living room. Some strategically placed frisbees and buckets are now helping keep our ceiling dry.

When JB got home, she discovered dirt in our bathtub from me dumping our attic water. She repeatedly informed us "dirt in bathtub. Wipe!"

One highlight I forgot to mention yesterday was watching the live stream of Perseverance landing on Mars. I remember being excited enough about the sky crane that dropped Curiosity on Mars back in 2012 that I changed my Facebook profile and cover photos to commemorate the event. This time around felt no less exciting. Nice work NASA.
