Pete's Log: Carving order out of chaos

Entry #1905, (Life in General)
(posted when I was 42 years old.)

Life with a toddler means developing a certain comfort level with chaos. But we've fought back a little bit.

I got the laundry room, which had taken on an additional role of miscellaneous storage cleared out, so it feels more open again. And more importantly access to the crawl space is now easier.

I also reorganized the utility room. Sometimes it feels like when I reorganize a room, I end up with things at the end that won't fit. But this time it seems like there's a bunch more space now that I'm done. I think it has good Feng Shui now too, I feel good every time I walk past it.

And finally Jamie and I made some good progress on the garage. Still more to be done there, but it's in much better shape than it was. Feels good. Spring cleaning, I guess.
