Pete's Log: Just Write Something

Entry #2280, (Homeownership, Life in General)
(posted when I was 44 years old.)

This is going to be the first May we spend in Illinois since 2020. I'd allowed myself to become hopeful that this would mean I'd be better able to keep on top of weeding since the weeds wouldn't get that one-month head start. But it's still April and the weeds seem to have started just shooting up in the past week.

But it's also been cold again and that makes the idea of weeding even less pleasant than otherwise.

But while mowing the lawn yesterday, I did notice that the Azaleas I planted in front of the house last year are starting to bloom. So perhaps they've survived the winter.

This evening we watched Ratatouille for the fourth or so time this weekend.
