A Hymn

I bow down and pray
At least twice a day
To a statue that isn't of clay
But a tube and a cathode ray.
It has a picture that changes
At different frequency ranges,
As music it plays
In mysterious ways
While it shows all our idols
And famous recitals
And amazes anyone around.
In our society
It is called a TV
and it maketh our world goeth round.
