Pete's Log: Hintertux!

Last weekend, to celebrate the birthday of our friend Cobus, 14 of us went on a weekend ski trip to Hintertux. We stayed at the same hut as last year, the Spannagelhaus at 2531 m elevation.
The weather was great, and like last year, I sported a mohawk for aerodynamic purposes. It was an excellent weekend.
My only regret is that Saturday night I took out my contacts before thinking to look at the stars. It was a really clear night, and at the elevation we were at, the stars were probably great, especially since there would have been minimal light pollution. Oh well. Next time.
