Pete's Log: Patterns and Patterns

Entry #2529, (Life in General, Parenthood, Sewing)
(posted when I was 45 years old.)

Today an opportunity arose for Jamie and I to recreate a photo from ten years ago.

JB has been requesting that we make clothes for her Barbies. So I have acquired some Barbie-sized patterns and am having a go at it. With almost zero clothes-making experience at human or doll scale. My first attempt was a pair of pink capri pants. Something definitely went wrong with the inner leg seam and the velcro placement in back is a bit off. But considering my experience level I am quite pleased with myself.
