Pete's Log: Soccer!

At the Red Stars game a few weeks ago, Adam asked if I’d be interested in a regular pickup soccer game and I responded with an enthusiastic yes. So he got a Thursday evening game organized, starting two weeks ago. I missed the first one due to being sick and nobody was available last week. But tonight we played soccer and boy is it what I needed.
We had eight people, including Adam, Bert and Andrew. We played almost an hour and a half. It was just the right level of we all used to be good at this but haven’t done it in a while. I’m still riding the endorphin high.
Afterwards Bert, Andrew and I sat outside at Imperial Oak for some beer. Great times. Already looking forward to next week.
