Pete's Log: who I write like

Entry #1693, (Books, Writing, n such)
(posted when I was 31 years old.)

Miriam posted a link to I Write Like on facebook, so I decided to play with it. I had it analyze all the log entries I wrote that I have rated a 5. The results are as follows:

EntryWriter
134James Joyce
136Ursula K. Le Guin
176Arthur C. Clarke
361Stephen King
696P. G. Wodehouse
918Lewis Carroll
1014Dan Brown
1037William Gibson
1126H.P. Lovecraft
1134David Foster Wallace
1161James Joyce
1218Dan Brown
1220James Joyce
1250James Joyce
1293David Foster Wallace
1410David Foster Wallace
1453David Foster Wallace
1506Charles Dickens

I find it interesting that there is so much variation early on, while James Joyce and David Foster Wallace are "responsible" for 7 of the 9 most recent entries. If I'm bored sometime, I could write a script to have all entries analyzed.

Also, entry 918, supposedly written like Lewis Carrol, consists solely of the text alias cwdcmd "alias precmd 'cd - ; unalias precmd'".

In this entry I apparently write like Dan Brown.
